A pivotal opportunity to join a dynamic ASX-listed organisation experiencing sustained growth and operational transformation. With revenues in the mid-hundreds of millions and a strong track record of both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, the business is looking for a seasoned finance executive to lead and mature its financial operations.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will lead a growing finance function, ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory obligations while driving commercial and operational excellence. The role is central to supporting ongoing business evolution, including the integration of newly acquired entities and the enhancement of financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely statutory and management reporting for executive leadership and the Board.
- Lead ASX financial reporting obligations, including Appendix 4D/4E and year-end reporting.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to business leaders.
- Oversee integration of acquired entities, including financial systems and reporting alignment.
- Manage external audit and tax engagements to ensure compliance and efficient outcomes.
- Lead cash flow forecasting, treasury management, and FX exposure oversight.
- Enhance financial systems, internal controls, and reporting frameworks.
- Build and lead a high-performing, multi-jurisdictional finance team.
- Ensure compliance across all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Support investor relations through the development of financial content and analysis.
About You
- CA qualified with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Trained in chartered accounting, with experience in commercial leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in an ASX-listed environment, ideally within a business generating sub-$500M revenue.
- Deep technical accounting knowledge, including application of current standards and disclosure requirements.
- Strong track record of acquisition integration and change leadership.
- Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly advantageous).
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
