A leading multinational company based in Sydney, Australia is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant / Admin Manager to join their team. This crucial role involves overseeing both financial operations and key administrative functions, ensuring compliance and efficient business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee comprehensive financial management, month end close and reporting back to headquarters..
• Manage tax filings, statutory audits, and effectively liaise with external advisors and government agencies.
• Support external audits and meticulously manage all audit documentation.
• Maintain accurate and timely general ledger records.
• Ensure strict compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax law, and corporate policies.
• Manage administrative operations such as procurement, IT coordination, and general office oversight.
• Carry out any additional accounting-related duties as directed by the Managing Director.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• CPA or CA qualification (or working toward it) is preferred.
• Experience in a multinational company environment is an advantage.
