About the role
Reporting to the Program Services Manager, you will manage the daily operations of cognition and behaviour laboratories. You will oversee schedules, technical support, and WHS compliance, while maintaining equipment and accurate records. You will also provide specialist expertise in EEG and sleep laboratory operations, programming and data management, working closely with academics, researchers and students.

To be successful you will need
- Tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in managing laboratory/research facilities
- Demonstrated experience in psychophysiological laboratories, including EEG systems and sleep research techniques
- Programming skills in Python, Matlab or R with experience in EEG/sleep data analysis
- Strong organisational and project management skills with accurate record-keeping (e.g. SharePoint)
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and proven ability to manage compliance in laboratory settings
