About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to join our fast-paced, modern cafe located in one of Perth's leading independent grocers. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our cafe operations, ensuring exceptional customer service whilst adapting and growing with the current positive team already in place.

What you'll be doing

Manage all day-to-day cafe operations, including staffing, inventory, cash handling

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers

Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food and beverage items

Manage and train a team of passionate, dedicated existing cafe staff

Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety

Collaborate with the wider business team to support the overall growth and development of the cafe

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a cafe or hospitality management role

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Strong financial management skills, with experience in inventory control, budgeting and cost-saving initiatives

Passion for the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of current trends and best practices

Proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and profitability

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
