Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Steel Detailer Draftsperson with extensive expertise in Tekla Structures. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our projects, working closely with our engineering and fabrication teams. This is a full-time, in-office position, and the candidate will be expected to participate in meetings and visit sites as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed steel fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and quality of steel detailing.
• Attend site visits to gather data, understand project requirements, and ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams to discuss project specifications and progress.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company practices throughout the detailing process.
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings for accurate steel detailing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in steel detailing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Extensive experience and proficiency in using Tekla Structures.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to visit project sites and participate in meetings as needed.
• Must be able to work full-time in our office – no remote work is available for this position.
