What you'll be doing
Join Westmead Hospital’s Cancer Services Pharmacy and make a real impact by delivering safe, innovative and patient-focused pharmaceutical care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
Provide expert, patient-centred clinical care
Lead & supervise pharmaceutical manufacturing
Ensure GMP & regulatory compliance
Mentor and support staff, students & technicians
Contribute to research, training & quality programs

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g Bachelor of Pharmacy
Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated excellent and effective communication skills.
Demonstrated experience and skills in providing pharmaceutical services to ensure safe use of medicines, especially in the area of Cancer Care Services.
Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice.
Demonstrated excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Willing and able to participate in sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and teaching activities.
Willing to work on weekends, on-call as per departmental rosters.
