Executive Housekeeper

Monday - Wednesday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $45 per hour + Super + benefits
Start Date: October, 2025

Our professional clients are seeking a reliable, and organised Housekeeper to join their household in Ingleside. There are no children living at home. They want their 3 fur babies to be happy, well fed and looked after, a clean home to come home to after a gruelling work day and domestic life run smoothly.

There is an opportunity for overnight stays when our clients travel, this is by arrangement to look after the pets and home and paid separately. There is a motor cruiser locally located that will need attention and internal cleaning/linen changes during spring/summer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Ensure all rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and living spaces are clean, organised, and well-maintained.

o Laundry: Wash, fold, and iron clothes, linens, and towels. Dry cleaning dropped off, picked up.

o Manage household inventory, including cleaning supplies, household & kitchen items. (food shopping, fridge, pantry)

o Ensure pet areas are kept clean and tidy. Pets are walked daily, fed and nurtured.

o Preparation of the evening meal- 2 adults

o Perform housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping.

o Change bed linens weekly and bathroom linen as required.

o Run errands as needed (grocery shopping, dry cleaning, vet appointments, dog walks in the park, etc. Take the initiative – you will have household funds that need balancing with receipts.)

o Meet with trades on site as required (sparky, plumber, water delivery truck – residence is on 1 acre and tank water)

o Accept deliveries and packages

Key Requirements:

o Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in high-end where you are required to be proactive, take initiative and own your role.

o Current employment references – minimum 5 years.

o Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

o Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean, organized home.

o Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

o Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet. (an NDA will need to be signed)

o A valid driver’s license (a car will be supplied for daily tasks and errands)

o Comfortable with pets and a pet-friendly environment

Comfortable with boats. You will be required to stock the galley, change the bed linen, general internal tidy usually once a week in spring/summer, less in winter.
