Seashells Beachfront Resort located at Diamond Beach ( 20 minutes north of Forster NSW ) is currently looking for a Casual Housekeeping Superstar !!. We are a small resort with 27 apartments consisting of one and two bedroom apartments.

Our current Housekeeper is retiring and we need to fill the position as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all rooms are spotlessly cleaned and maintained. Reporting to the Resort Manager , the successful person will be adaptable and able to clean apartments to a high standard.

The successful applicants will possess the ability to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Ensure all equipment is cleaned correctly, our storerooms and trolleys are kept in a neat working order

Excellent attention to detail . You always leave the apartment checking all is done to the highest standard.

Able to follow clear instructions and work in a team or on their own

Good communication skills

Comfortable interacting with guests to enhance their experience

Hours of work are approx 3-4 days per week starting at 9am each shift with very few weekends or public holidays worked but we would expect flexibility if required for additional days.

Cleaning and servicing guest rooms, hallways and public areas

Servicing guest rooms in accordance with hotel procedures

Replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies

Follow through with guest requests

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in housekeeping

Strong understanding of manual handling and safe work practices

Experience working with Google sheets on a mobile phone.
