Key Responsibilities

Provide specialist general adult psychiatric services to regional, rural and remote communities

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive mental health care

Engage with Indigenous and underserved populations, tailoring care to meet diverse cultural needs

Participate in community outreach, education, and support initiatives

Large telehealth component

About You

Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) with specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry OR

Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) with Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)

Support for subspecialty interest in drug and alcohol, indigenous persons, consultant liaison, medico legal or outreach

Interest in rural psychiatry, community engagement, and working with Indigenous or underserved populations

Comfortable to travel within the district 1-2 days per month to remote and rural environments
