PDHS Wholesale Supplies is looking for a motivated Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our expanding team in our new Cairns warehouse.

Established in 2007, PDHS Wholesale Supplies are a proud supplier of kitchen products and wholesale hospitality supplies in the FNQ region.

We pride ourselves on good old-fashioned service, attention to detail and above all, the supply of quality products to support our business customers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing Business to Business deliveries to our customers in Cairns, Port Douglas, and the Northern Beaches areas.

You will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of goods.

This position is available for an immediate start for the right person.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Organising and planning of delivery runs to ensure efficient delivery of goods

Pick/Pack orders accurately for dispatch

Loading/Unloading of delivery vehicles

Delivering goods accurately to customers ensuring correct delivery paperwork is completed

Inspection of goods received for damage or discrepancies

Receipt and process returned stock into warehouse

Handle and move inventory and materials safely and efficiently in the warehouse

Maintain inventory control procedures and adhering to delivery processes

To be considered for this role...

You must be physically fit and able to undertake lifting of up to 20kg.

Be a safe and courteous driver at all times

Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and be cool, calm and collected when under pressure

Be a “People Person” you’ll be representing our company and brand whilst delivering straight to our customers businesses

Possess high attention to detail

Be reliable, punctual and have strong communication skills

Ability to think on your feet, use initiative & be enthusiastic and motivated

Be able to plan your own workload and work unsupervised as well as be a team player

Demonstrate basic computer skills

Hold a current Driver’s Licence (preferably manual)

Previous experience working as a Multi-Drop- Driver or Storeperson is desirable, however not essential. Forklift Licence / Experience desirable however not mandatory
