ABOUT THE ROLE:

Kenmore Village Physio is seeking an experienced or recent graduate MSK Physiotherapist on a Part-time basis and a qualified REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST on casual basis.

Our clinic continues grow due to client demand we are seeking a highly motivated, driven and a passionate Physio to join our dedicated team in Kenmore to start in September.

As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to our diverse client base in our well established clinic in Kenmore. Our strong client base is driven by strong ties with specialist clinics, local GPs and Kenmore local and wider suburb community. Our patient base is varied - including Private, GP referral, NDIS, DVA, and WorkCover clients — and we support our services with a fully equipped exercise area and Pilates equipment.

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING:

Part time physio position available; hours 14-26hrs

Excellent remuneration package; 55k-85k, + Super and generous PD allowance, plus the opportunity to work with a leading provider in rehabilitation in Brisbane.

GYM Membership – access to a fully equipped commercial gym 24/7 for personal use and with your own clients' to allow them to utilise your exercise prescription knowledge.

Mentoring program - dependent on experience; our current team have significant experience in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy (over 38yrs) and have an open-door ethos of guidance and support to further develop and enhance their colleagues rehabilitation skills. Our clinic emphasises a strong manual therapy approach therefore you will receive expert training in this key area of MSK case management.

Shockwave Therapy - build on your treatment repertoire, we will teach you the principles and practical applications for the use of shockwave therapy.

Casual Remedial massage therapist: 50% per client. Excellent oppurtunity to grow a client base and build on skills with a diverse caseload.

We are offering the unique opportunity - to work across multiple rehabilitation settings and conduct pre-employment medicals in the growing field of occupational health. This exciting opportunity enables the Physio to treat a diverse and wide range of clinical presentations further developing MSK knowledge and increasing job satisfaction. You will be exposed to complex and simple MSK cases and collaborating with Occupational doctors to manage work injuries.

Our Kenmore clinic sees a wide range of injuries enabling our Physios' to get great exposure in improving their rehabilitation skills, this may include; acute and chronic conditions, spinal related conditions, sports injuries, work injuries, post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation, movement and postural problems, RSI and women's health to name a few.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

· Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for patients

· Build and manage your own caseload of private patients as well as those going through Workcover, MVA, NDIS, DVA and General Practitioner Management Plans.

· Have the opportunity to work autonomously and also with experienced physiotherapists in a collaborative environment.

· Deliver a range of physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, shock-wave therapy, laser and treatment education.

· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

· Preferably 2 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist but open to Recent Graduates who are driven and motivated. Experience in a private practice is highly preferred

· Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy

· AHPRA registration & current professional indemnity insurance

· Strong skills in manual therapy & the desire to continue development

· Experience in dry needling and remedial massage is desirable

· Open to learning the use of state-of-the-art equipment, such as Shockwave therapy

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients

· Have current drivers license and preferably own car

· Enthusiasm for continued professional development
