Experienced Plant Operator – Recycling Centre
$43.99 p/h | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start

Mills Recruitment is seeking an experienced and reliable Plant Operator to join our client’s established team at a local government recycling centre in Eastern Perth. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering consistent weekday hours and weekend shifts as rostered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload customer trucks
• Operate FEL (Front End Loader), excavators, forklifts, and other machinery as required
• Inspect recyclable timber for compliance
• Sort and cut power poles to size
• Perform MC truck driving duties as required
• Carry out general labouring and yard work

Requirements:

• Current FEL, Excavator, Forklift, and HR licences – essential
• Accredited/ticketed to operate loaders and excavators – essential
• Bobcat and Manitou experience advantageous
• MC licence would be considered highly advantageous
• Physically fit – frequent entry and exit from machinery required
• Confident and recent experience loading trucks from a ramp
• Current Police Clearance – essential
• Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm (penalty rates apply)
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm, as rostered
