Adecco are seeking a skilled Steel Fixer / Precast Installation Labourer on a Permanent basis to join our team in the manufacture and installation of precast concrete elements. This role plays a key part in ensuring structural integrity, quality, and safety standards are met across all projects.

Responsibilities

• Shift times from 6:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday - Friday.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, bar schedules, and precast element plans
• Cutting, bending, shaping, and securing reinforcing steel bars and mesh
• Assembling steel cages and reinforcement frames within moulds/formwork
• Working closely with casting teams to ensure reinforcement is ready prior to pours
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
• Reporting any material shortages, tool issues, or non-conformances
• Following all site safety procedures and contributing to continuous improvement

Your Profile

Previous experience as a steel fixer in precast or construction (essential)

Ability to read and interpret reinforcement drawings and bar schedules

Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual tasks

Good teamwork and communication skills with a safety-first mindset

Desirable tickets/licences:

Construction Induction (White Card)

Forklift or overhead crane licence

Welding certification

Experience with lean manufacturing / 5S
