SUPPORT WORKER - IN-HOME AGED CARE

Location: Perth WA (North of the River and Central Perth)

· Casual Position: $40.91 per Hour (Monday to Friday)

· Penalty rates apply for weekends and public holidays.

· All hours are available. Must be available on Thursday and Friday.

· Approximately 10-25 hours per week.

· Service provided to clients throughout the Perth metropolitan area. This run is for North of the River and Perth Central.

· Commencement date: fast onboarding, commence working within 1-4 weeks

About the role

As a community/home support worker, you will work alongside our clients and their families to provide assistance within their homes. Key responsibilities include:

· Medication reminders

· Transportation to shops, activities, and medical appointments

· Cleaning and tidying

· Providing social support

· Offering companionship

· Assisting with personal hygiene, including showering

· Food preparation and assistance

· Ensuring security and safety

· Conducting personal safety pendant checks

Requirements

Essential

· Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)

· Current WA driver's licence and own car

· Eligibility to work in Australia

· Police check (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable

· Previous experience with home/community care (6 months or more)

· First Aid and CPR certificate

· Manual Handling Certificate
