About the role

We are seeking a qualified Mechanic/Service Technician to join our team at AMAC - Aldinga Mowers in Aldinga Beach. This full-time role will see you working on a variety of outdoor power equipment, including mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, Polaris off road vehicles, Toro construction equipment, Toro zero turn rideons, lawn tractors and other small engine machinery. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the efficient servicing and repair of equipment for our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of outdoor power equipment

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults

Rebuilding and overhauling small engines and components

Providing excellent customer service and advice

Maintaining comprehensive records and workshop documentation

Ensuring a clean, safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician, ideally within the outdoor power equipment or small engine industry. Minimum of 5 years experience required.

Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities

Good understanding of the operation, maintenance and repair of small engines and outdoor power equipment

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Effective communication skills and customer service orientation

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
