About the role

Join the dynamic team at The Gym and Treadmill Surgeon as a full-time Fitness Equipment Technician based in Pooraka, SA 5095. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of fitness equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a variety of fitness equipment, including treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical machines, and strength training equipment

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity

Respond to service requests in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities

Collaborate with the wider team to identify and implement improvements to equipment and maintenance processes

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment issues

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with members and colleagues

Commitment to working safely and a focus on continuous improvement

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to different locations including country trips as required

Australian permanent residency is required for this position

Basic level of physical fitness is sufficient for this role

Provisional driver's licence is acceptable for client site visits
