Candidates we are wishing to hear from will hold the below essential skills and qualifications:

Essential

Standard 11 Surface Mining Induction

Queensland Coal Board Medical

Demonstrated experience working within the mining, construction, marine and maintenance industries

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience required in mining, construction, marine or maintenance industries

Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Scaffold High Risk Work Licence

Construction Industry Induction White Card

Current or previous Safe Work at Heights Qualifications

Current or previous Confined Space Entry Qualifications

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing regular D&A testing

Australian citizenship required for this position

Desirable

Demonstrated experience working directly in conjunction with global mining operators such as BHP, Rio Tinto, Stanmore and Glencore or for Tier 1 Contractors such as Sedgman, CPB Contractors, McConnell Dowell or Laing O'Rourke.
