We’re working with a top-tier national firm to find two exceptional lawyers to join their Brisbane-based Energy & Resources practice. This is a rare opportunity to work on high-value, cross-border matters with a strong focus on PNG clients and the oil & gas sector.

The opportunity:
This team is growing fast and is looking for:

• A Senior Associate (recently promoted, up to 3 years post-promotion)
• An Associate (3–5 years PAE)

You’ll be advising on:

• Unregulated M&A and joint ventures
• Oil & gas transactions and project development
• Strategic cross-border deals, particularly involving PNG-based clients
• Broader energy sector matters including renewables and decarbonisation.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in corporate, energy or resources law
• Strong drafting and advisory skills, with commercial acumen
• Experience or interest in oil & gas, joint ventures, and cross-border matters
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset
