About the Position
Maranoa Regional Council is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Community Safety team as an Administration Officer – Community Safety.
This role provides high-level administrative and customer service support, ensuring smooth delivery of Council's compliance, local laws, and proactive community safety programs. From maintaining accurate records and supporting inspections to assisting with pound operations and community education initiatives, this position is central to keeping our region safe, informed, and supported.

Position Details & Benefits
Location: Roma, QLD
Classification: Stream A – Level 4 (Maranoa Regional Council Certified Agreement 2023)
Maranoa Locality Allowance: $72.00 per fortnight
Rostered Day Off: 9-day fortnight
Leave Entitlements:
- 5 weeks annual leave per year
- 3 weeks sick leave per year
- Long service leave after 7 years
- 10 weeks (full pay) or 20 weeks (half pay) paid parental leave
