About the role

Gilson Restaurant, a vibrant and popular restaurant in the heart of South Yarra, is seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As our Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality coffee beverages to delight our guests.

What you'll be doing

Producing a range of 500-700 coffees daily with our strong barista team.

Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Maintaining a clean and organised work station, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained

Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Demonstrating a strong understanding of coffee and espresso machine operation

What we're looking for

At least 2 year of experience as a Barista, in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

Strong knowledge of coffee, including dialling in.

Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure

Good time management and multitasking skills

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
