Roster: Metro: Monday - Friday | FIFO: Various rosters available (e.g., 2:1, 8:6, 2:2)
Salary: Competitive hourly rates + super + penalties + site allowances

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced HD (Heavy-Duty) and LV (Light Vehicle) Mechanics to join our growing team. Positions are available for both Perth-based metro work and FIFO roles to mine sites across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a range of heavy and light vehicles
• Inspect and service diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, braking systems, and other components
• Conduct fault finding using diagnostic tools and systems
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site standards
• Complete service reports, job cards, and maintenance records accurately
• Work autonomously or as part of a team to meet operational deadlines
• Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to continuous safety improvements

Requirements

For HD Mechanics:

• Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Experience with mining equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, etc.
• Valid HR (or higher) driver's licence preferred
• Previous FIFO or remote site experience (highly regarded)

For LV Mechanics:

• Australian-recognised Light Vehicle Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Experience working on 4WDs, utes, and light trucks
• Ability to upskill or transition to HD roles (training opportunities may be available)

General:

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver's licence (manual preferred)
