About us:
Emerald is the principal town of the Central Highlands division of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Central Highlands provides Health Services at four hospitals, Emerald, Blackwater, Springsure, Woorabinda and provides primary health and or outpatient services at facilities in the Gemfields, Tieri and Capella. Emerald Hospital emergency department provides care for approximately 16,000 patients per annum.
About the role:
- Demonstrate nursing competence in the provision of nursing care to emergency patients, inpatients and aged care residents.
- Undertake delegated and delegate activities while assuming individual accountability for actions within the position and context of practice.
- To provide holistic patient-centred care and practice within an interdisciplinary team environment.
- The Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skill provides and evaluates contemporary evidence-based nursing care in alignment with accepted standards CQ Health guidelines and policies.
- Practises predominately with indirect supervision while assisting with the care of recipients of healthcare services as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Seeks assistance and support in decision making from a Registered Nurse.
About you:
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
- Advanced Skills relating to specific key areas is desirable.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $59,372 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $39.25 - $41.65 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
