The Opportunity

Cairns Private Hospital is seeking motivated Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who thrive in dynamic clinical environments and are committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care. This position will also allow you to transition for Aged Care and other health sectors to a hospital setting with on-the-job training provided to successful candidates.

We welcome applications from nurses with diverse experience across medical and surgical specialties, with particular interest in those with skills in Cardiology, Vascular, Cardiothoracic and Medical nursing.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide direct patient care, closely monitor health status, and administer medications and treatments. You will work collaboratively with doctors and allied health professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.

In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding patients through their care journey, supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team known for compassion, clinical expertise, and consistently high standards of care.

Your Skills and Experience

• Relevant registration with AHPRA.
• Enrolled nurses will be medication endorsed and IV qualified.
• Strong Clinical Skill set.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with care and attention to detail.

Remuneration:

• RN: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).
• EN: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $35.78 - $39.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1-gr6).

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
