About the role

Ballarat Leagues Club is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team in Ballarat East, Victoria. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and creating delicious meals that delight our customers. This is a full-time role, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Preparing high-quality meals in a timely manner according to our menu and customer requirements

Ensuring all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards

Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Providing excellent customer service and handling any customer queries or complaints

Adhering to budget and cost control measures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a similar hospitality or catering environment

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and menu planning

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

Enthusiasm for creating innovative and delicious dishes

Food safety and hygiene certification
