About the role

Become an integral part of the team at Sue's Burgers and Shakes' as our new Assistant Kitchen Manager. This full-time position based in Carindale, Queensland, will see you supporting the Kitchen Manager in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive a consistently excellent dining experience.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Kitchen Manager with the day-to-day running of the kitchen

Monitoring and maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation and service

Implementing and enforcing strict health and safety protocols

Coordinating and supervising kitchen staff to optimise productivity and efficiency

Providing training and development opportunities for kitchen team members

Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding customer experience

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry

Strong working knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team

Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude

Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Passion for the hospitality industry and a keen eye for detail
