Head Barista – Balkan House Qld

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Head Barista to lead the coffee program at our brand-new café, Balkan House. This is an exciting opportunity to join from the very beginning and help shape the culture, standards, and customer experience.

Your role:

Lead the barista team and oversee daily coffee operations

Deliver consistently excellent coffee and customer service

Train, mentor, and roster junior baristas

Ensure equipment is maintained and quality standards are upheld

Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming café atmosphere

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience as a senior barista (Head Barista/2IC experience highly regarded)

Strong knowledge of specialty coffee and passion for the industry

Leadership skills – confident in training and motivating staff

Reliability, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced café environment

Availability to work weekdays and weekends as rostered
