About the role

Looking for a casual retail sales role that offers flexibility. The position will be every Friday and Saturday morning. Fill in for holidays and sick leave. Join the team at McDonald's Furniture in Mount Gambier, SA as a Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of providing an exceptional customer experience and contributing to the success of this well-established furniture retailer.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers, understanding their needs and guiding them to the right products

Maintaining an organised and visually appealing store layout

Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed

Processing sales transactions and operating the cash register

Answering customer queries and handling any complaints or feedback

Supporting the overall operations of the store as part of a collaborative team

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing retail role, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry. On job training will be provided.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn
