The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced and driven Business Development & Leasing Manager to spearhead growth in our property management division while managing the leasing process from enquiry through to tenancy. This hybrid role offers variety and responsibility – you'll not only secure new managements but also ensure a seamless leasing experience for clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Proactively identify and convert new property management opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, and local market activity.
Build and nurture strong relationships with landlords, investors, and referral partners.
Conduct rental appraisals and prepare tailored proposals for potential clients.
Coordinate smooth handover of new managements to the property management team.
Develop and implement marketing initiatives and campaigns to attract new business.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversion rates.
Leasing Management
Manage end-to-end leasing process for rental properties, including advertising, enquiries, inspections, and applications.
Conduct open homes and private inspections, ensuring properties are presented to a high standard.
Qualify and screen tenants to secure the best possible outcomes for landlords.
Prepare lease agreements and ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures.
Liaise with tenants and landlords to ensure a smooth onboarding and move-in experience.
Stay up to date with rental market trends and competitor activity to provide accurate pricing advice.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in real estate, property management, business development, or leasing.
Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales or growth targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
High level of organisation, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously.
Current South Australian Property Management licence with active registration.
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
Proficiency in CRM software, property management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa).
