About the team
Our Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance and Utilities Network Maintenance team units are seeking to appoint a Senior Maintenance Operations Officer. The position works closely with Coordinators and Supervisors, based at various depots across the Gold Coast.
You will manage the unit’s operational planning and implementation for 200+ staff. The position also coordinates and assists with fostering a service-driven culture of continuous improvement that includes the review of business and operational processes.
About your new role
Provide financial management oversight, advice and reporting to support the section's delivery of agreed business outcomes. Generation of SAP budget reports on expenditure and work order commitments.
Develop and implement processes, procedures for incorporation into the quality management systems that will facilitate effective support of the section and branch.
Provide specialist advice to the section's management and supervisory staff, on people and asset management including SAP work centre coordination, training scheduling, people movements and higher duties, and labour hire placements (requests and approvals).
Coordination of End of Month activities including financial reporting and the section's Monthly Report.

We're looking for people who have:
Qualifications in business or a related discipline
Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence
General Construction Induction White Card (currently held or ability to acquire)
Exceptional time management skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and including Word, Outlook, Adobe, PowerPoint and Visio
Advanced use of Objective, People management systems, and SAP Finance, Procurement and Plant Maintenance modules
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven track record of using sound judgement to make decisions
