About the role

Hydro Excavation Services is seeking experienced and skilled Pipe Layers, Vac Truck Operators, and Excavator Operators to join our team in Adelaide, SA. This full-time role is integral to the successful delivery of our construction projects, utilising a range of plant and machinery to safely and efficiently excavate, lay pipes, and support our wider operations.

What you'll be doing

Operating a range of heavy machinery including vac trucks, excavators, and other equipment to assist with the excavation and pipe laying process

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues

Providing support to the wider construction team, assisting with tasks as required

Maintaining equipment and machinery to the highest standards, proactively identifying and reporting any issues

Working collaboratively with the team to deliver projects on time and to the expected level of quality

What we're looking for

Excellent knowledge of construction methods, processes, and safety requirements

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Commitment to upholding high safety standards and a strong safety-first mindset

Relevant licences and qualifications, including a valid MR/HC driver's licence and any necessary certifications.

Working with Adelaide's Water and Sewer infrastructure.
