We are seeking a reliable and skilled A-double driver to join our team for linehaul tanker operations running from Queensland to New South Wales. This role requires a high level of professionalism, safety awareness, and experience in handling heavy vehicles and tanker loads.

Tasks & responsibilities:

Complete prestart activities

Completing all required paperwork.

Keeping regular communication with the Operations Team whilst completing runs.

Keeping your truck well maintained, clean, and in full working order.

Reporting any incidents or damage incurred to your vehicle while on runs.

Basic communication with customers.

Looking for opportunities to increase business and efficiency.

Experience & qualifications:

Minimum 4–5 years of heavy vehicle driving experience

Proven experience with B-double or A-double combinations

Must provide a complete and clean driving history

Previous tanker experience is highly preferable

Strong understanding of linehaul operations and delivery schedules

Knowledge of chain of responsibility & fatigue management obligations.

Reliable punctuality.

Efficiency in the job with an emphasis on safety.

All drivers are required to pass a medical including drug and alcohol test.

To be successful for this role applicants must:

Hold a current MC license with 4 years minimum driving experience.

Have a good driving record.

Have previous experience in transportation of refrigeration goods and/or bulk tankers.

Be able to work shift work including weekends as required.

Have good presentation and communication skills.

Have solid customer service capability.

Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation advantageous or willing to obtain if successful.
