About the role

As a Solar PV Installer at Solar Suite, you will join a dynamic team responsible for the construction of solar system kits at an assembly site in Geraldton. The role will include heavy lifting, working in a team and using power tools such as impact drivers. This is a full-time role.

We have multiple positions available, as we are building a team and ideally suited candidates already located already located in the Geraldton area.

Applicants with electrical and/or solar experience will be highly considered but is not essential. Applicants with a forklift or heavy vehicle qualification beneficial.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the installation of solar panels, inverters, and other components.

Performing general labouring duties such as site preparation, equipment handling, and clean-up.

Working closely with solar technicians and electricians to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Complete all tasks in a safe manner according to company policies and procedures, and comply at all times with company induction and safety training and Safe Work Method Statements.

Assist team members as needed, and contribute to team harmony and effective and efficient operation.

Materials handling of solar products, such as pallets of solar panels for use at the assembly plant and unloading/loading trucks.

What we're looking for

Desirable experience in a labour or construction role

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

Positions also available for Electricians and/or Solar experience
