About The Company
Our client services a wide variety of commercial and council sites across Melbourne. With a strong presence in the Northern, Western and Eastern suburbs, they have built a solid reputation for quality HVAC service and maintenance across government and commercial facilities.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical HVAC systems in line with Australian Standards.
Due to a recent increase in council contracts, an exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join the team. A position is also open for a 4th year apprentice looking to develop their career further.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Working on government and commercial sites
- Performing preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
- Engaging with clients and site supervisors in a professional manner
- Completing documentation and complying with site-specific safety requirements
- Servicing and repairing Mechanical HVAC systems (e.g., Central Plants, Package Units, Split Systems)
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- D Grade Electrical Permit
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Police Check & Working With Children Check (Mandatory)
- White or Red OH&S Card and Working at Heights Certification
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence and Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Strong Communication Skills And A Self-Motivated, Professional Attitude
