Your New Role
As the Swimming Instructor, you will provide professional instruction in swimming programs within a school environment. This role will provide a safe, fun and educational environment in which students progressively learn to swim. We’re committed to fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive atmosphere where everyone is welcome. About You
- Hold a current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Hold/willing to obtain a Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (if required)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to deliver effective swimming lessons for a variety of age groups and skill levels
- Strong knowledge of water safety protocols.
Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
