About the role

John Carew Swim School is seeking experienced Swim Instructors to join our team on a casual basis. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities in a fun, engaging and safe environment. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic team, helping swimmers of all levels improve their skills and confidence in the water.

Varity of shifts available (mornings and afternoons on weekdays, and Saturday mornings)

What you'll be doing

Depending on your skills, availability, and preferences we teach infants through to mini squads (6mths through 15 years). We provide classes at various levels from water safety and learn to swim through to stroke improvement.

Delivering high-quality swimming instruction to students based on their individual needs and skill levels

Providing engaging and structured lessons plans to promote skill development and enjoyment

Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students in the water

Providing regular feedback and encouragement to students to support their progress

What we're looking for

Someone we can count on - commitment to the allocated hours throughout the school term. (Usually between 10-20 hours a week)

You have or are willing to obtain, your relevant swim qualifications, hold a valid CPR and current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one)

You enjoy working with children and excel at communicating with children of all ages and abilities.

You have a genuine passion for swimming and helping others develop their skills
