King's Baptist Grammar School is seeking a passionate and skilled Basketball Training Coach to join our vibrant co-curricular sports program. This casual role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment, enjoys working with young people, and is committed to fostering skill development and sportsmanship.

Candidates must have experience in coaching/guiding students in both skills and game sense with the capacity to develop and implement training plans and goals and suggest improvements if required.

Role Overview

As Basketball Training Coach, you will:

Work as part of a team to plan and deliver engaging weekly training sessions for various age groups.

Support students in developing basketball skills and game sense.

Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.

Provide feedback to students and liaise with parents where appropriate.

Set up and pack down equipment and ensure safe working practices.

Key Requirements

Availability during term time across Monday to Thursday, 2:45pm - 4:45pm (specific days to be determined)

Current Working with Children Check, Mandatory Notification Training, and First Aid ECEC certification.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

A heart for student development and team spirit.

Employment Details

Casual position under the King's Baptist Grammar School Enterprise Agreement.

Paid a minimum of 2 hours per day worked, with a 20% casual loading.

Reporting to the Co-Curricular Coordinator – Sport & Activity.
