About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to develop new business across construction, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, agriculture, aged care

This is a home‑based role covering Greater Sydney with client visits, occasional regional travel, and interstate trips to our Melbourne head office.

You’ll focus on winning clients and managing relationships - supported by ASM’s global sourcing teams so you’re not stuck in endless candidate searches.

Key Responsibilities

Build and grow a network of employer contacts in industries facing skill shortages

Follow up inbound leads from our marketing team and convert them into lasting client partnerships

Identify offshore talent and fill your own portfolio of vacancies

Customer Service responsibilities

Liaise with our international sourcing teams to deliver qualified, skilled candidates

Manage the client relationship from job brief through to successful placement

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ client‑facing experience in trades and blue-collar recruitment, workforce solutions, migration strategy, workforce solutions, recruitment consultancy

Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

Knowledge of skilled trades sectors such as construction, automotive, transport, agriculture, FMCG

Organised, proactive, and driven to achieve targets

Detailed understanding of the Skills In Demand sc482 process
