What’s on Offer

We are seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Fitters to join our North QLD Field Service team. In this floating role across the Bowen Basin, you’ll become the go to expert for major breakdowns and shutdowns.

You’ll apply your mechanical knowledge, fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a wide variety of heavy mining and ancillary equipment from top OEM brands including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr and more.

Key Benefits

Competitive pay rates: $70–$80 per hour plus 12% super on all hours worked

Paid travel, depending on site and roster*

Flexible rosters available – 7/7, 2/1 or longer

Diverse and challenging work across a variety of OEM equipment

Locals encouraged to apply otherwise FIFO or DIDO required

What You’ll Need

Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent) – We also have RPL pathways available

Strong field service and breakdown experience in the mining sector

Experience working on OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, etc.)

Current C Class Driver’s Licence

Strong initiative, problem solving skills and a safety-first mindset

Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
