We’re seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter with proven skills on Liebherr & Hitachi excavators, Caterpillar ancillary equipment, and drill rigs. This role involves a mix of scheduled servicing and breakdown maintenance, with strong rates and flexible rosters on offer.

The Role:

Carry out servicing, diagnostics & repairs on heavy mining equipment

Specialise in Liebherr & Hitachi excavators

Maintain and repair Caterpillar ancillary equipment

Perform breakdown maintenance and get machines back online quickly

Work independently and ensure high safety & quality standards

What you’ll bring:

Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter / Diesel Mechanic

Experience with Liebherr & Hitachi excavators (essential)

Background in Caterpillar ancillary gear & drill rigs

Strong breakdown fault-finding skills

Current driver’s licence

Safety-first mindset and ability to work both solo and in a team

Desirable:

Previous site-based mining or heavy industry experience

HR/MC licence

Hydraulic & auto-electrical system knowledge
