Due to rapid growth, we’re seeking two driven Account / Business Development Managers to lead our rail and electrical contractor portfolios. About You
The ideal candidate/s will lead initiatives to generate and engage with key business partners to build and grow current and new business opportunities for the company. You're a strategic thinker and a natural connector with a passion for driving growth. As our new Account / Business Development Manager - Rail and Electrical Contractors, you'll be leading initiatives that unlock new opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships.
You are:
Adept at cultivating and sustaining exceptional service relationships with established key clients, while continuously seeking opportunities to expand a professional network within the rail & electrical contractor industries.
Excellent time and organisational skills, with the ability to handle pressure and strict deadlines.
Proficient in utilising multiple CRMs and Microsoft software packages, with a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms.
Thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by ambitious targets.
Bring a competitive edge, but know that collaboration is key to long-term success.
Engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline teams to executive decision-makers.
Think critically and act decisively, with a proven ability to turn strategy into results.
Be proactive, resourceful, committed to safety and not afraid to challenge the status quo to build something better.

Key responsibilities:
Account Management – build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
Identify potential business opportunities and follow up on new leads
Travel to key accounts, both local and interstate (50 % travel)
Demonstrate strong industry product knowledge with the ability to learn and conduct demos, presentations and offer tailored solutions to a wide range of customers.
Demonstrated experience in using multiple CRMs – Syspro, Microsoft platforms.
Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other required documentation for executive level presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives and support customer solutions.
Provide assistance and share best practices with colleagues to foster a supportive team environment.
Participate in joint strategy sessions and regular meetings to align on goals and drive collective success.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Driver’s licence and reliable transport
Trade background or WH&S experience is highly regarded
Proven success in sales and business development
A strong network and industry knowledge within the electrical and or rail industries
A great team player with the ability to work independently
Be able to pass a national police check
What we offer
Competitive salary of $95,000 p/a + super + access company car

The successful candidate will enjoy taking charge of all electrical contractors and or rail-related business, leading and developing their own portfolios as an integral aspect of the role.
