Irontech are looking for a Heavy Haulage Operator to join our team driving throughout the West, this is a Perth based role with a flexible roster to suit the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate our 50t Drake and Kenworth float and all associated equipment to meet the heavy haulage requirements

Local and long-distance driving across Perth , Goldfields and the Pilbara

Safe loading and restraining of various machinery and equipment

Journey management including permits, pilots and any mine site requirements

Compliance with statutory regulations including fatigue management and WHS standards

Undertake various data and reporting both physically and electronically including time sheets, consignment notes, pre-starts and similar

Ability to problem solve and undertake general maintenance to equipment

Essential skills

Minimum 2 years heavy haulage operating in Western Australia

MC Driver’s license and demonstrated experience in heavy haulage and specialised transport - minimum 2 years' experience

Strong knowledge of road transport legislation including fatigue management, permit requirements and operating conditions

Ability to support flexible and changing working requirements including regional deliveries and time away from home
