We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team here at Dicandilos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within the metropolitan region. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a commercial truck to transport goods to and from designated locations within the metro area.

Ensure timely and safe delivery of products while complying with all road safety regulations.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure the truck is in good working condition.

Packing of jobs.

Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of materials and following company procedures.

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates on delivery status.

Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License – Class HR and LF High Risk - HC would be an advantage.

Strong knowledge of the metro area and local roadways.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and solve problems on the go.

Flexibility with hours, including weekends when necessary.

Previous experience with steel deliveries is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for long periods while driving.

Ability to lift, carry, and load/unload heavy goods.

Occasional bending, squatting, and reaching.
