Get to know the Role:

Border Express currently has an exciting opportunities available for experienced and motivated HC & HR delivery drivers to join the team at our Salisbury South Branch.

The roles will involve delivering freight in our tautliners to customers in the local Adelaide metro area.

These positions play an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.

Duties:

Ensure all freight is delivered on time, in full and with no damages

Plan and monitor all freight movements for effective utilisation in order to meet the operations time schedule;

Check all paperwork is completed accurately and real time signatures are obtained at all times;

Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guides, DG codes, fatigue management legislation, road laws and council regulations;

Undertake safe and effective loading, unloading and movement of freight in accordance with company & statutory guidelines.

(Potential) for general forklift duties as well

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in the Transport & Logistics industry preferred;

Excellent Driver History Report;

Great local knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas;

Ability to work unsupervised;

A current HC or HR licence (at a minimum) are essential for these positions.

Experience in multi-drops essential with potential for hand unloads as required.

Tailgate and pallet jack experience essential

Current LF forklift licence would be an advantage
