About the Role:

We're on the lookout for a reliable and hardworking HR Truck Driver to join our team based out of our Torrensville and/or Edinburgh sites. The role is full-time and available for an immediate start, offering an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our dynamic operations.

This role is part of a close-knit two-person team and is hands on, best suited to someone that enjoys physical work as many deliveries require manual unloading. Some deliveries will require heavy (but safe) team lifts.

As an HR Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of trade and retail building products across Adelaide and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities include:

Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading customer orders, including timber, building materials, and trade products.

Conducting pre-start vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.

Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and obtaining customer sign-offs.

Providing exceptional customer service by ensuring deliveries are made on time and in good condition.

Following route planning and schedules to optimize efficiency.

Adhering to workplace health and safety (WHS) policies at all times.

Maintaining a clean and well-presented company vehicle.

Assisting with manual unloading at delivery sites when required (some deliveries include awkward & heavy supplies, requiring team lifts).

Identifying and reporting vehicle maintenance needs or potential hazards.

Ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and company policies.

Collaborating with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure seamless operations.

Experience / licences / requirements:

HR Licence (Essential)

Dogging Ticket (Preferred but not essential)

CV Self-Loading Vehicle Ticket (Preferred but not essential)

Forklift Licence

A strong work ethic and a commitment to reliability

Experience handling and delivering building materials (Highly regarded)

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A customer-focused attitude, with great communication skills

Physical fitness, with the ability to manually unload heavy products as needed

A good understanding of local routes and safe driving practices
