About the Role - Fixed term until 4 February 2026
As the Recovery Case Coordinator – Psychological (Mental Injury), you will:
Support employees to recover and return to work using your skills and knowledge of recovery from mental injuries;
Provide development and regular review of return-to-work plans;
Liaise with health professionals, specialists, leaders, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes;
Attend fire stations and other work locations statewide;
Proactively provide advice, education and training to key stakeholders in the areas of rehabilitation, return to work and workers compensation, and provide ongoing support to the organisation.
What you will need to succeed
A strong work ethic, passion for helping the community, teamwork, integrity, accountability, and respect are all values that the Fire Rescue Victoria admires.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in an allied health related field;
Experience managing complex psychological injuries;
Extensive understanding of workers compensation claims management and the relevant legislation;
Experience working in multi-disciplinary team and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders;
A current valid driver's license.

FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
