Excavator Operator – Civil Infrastructure

Our client is a respected civil contractor specialising in the delivery and maintenance of water, drainage, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure across South East Queensland.

With over 100 years of combined industry experience and ISO accreditation, they are the preferred contractor for Tier 1 clients including UnityWater and Urban Utilities.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Excavator Operator (15T–35T) to join the crew. This role does not require GPS/final trim, but does demand precision and safety when working around live services and with pipelaying crews.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating 15–35T excavators on civil water/drainage projects
• Supporting pipelaying crews with trenching and deep excavations
• Excavating pits, placing pipes, backfilling, and compacting
• Working safely around live services and shoring systems

What You’ll Need (Mandatory)

✔️ Excavator Ticket

✔️ Construction White Card

✔️ Current Driver’s Licence + reliable transport

✔️ Proven experience on 15–35T machines

✔️ Strong background supporting pipelaying crews

✔️ Consistent availability (Mon–Fri work)

Advantageous Tickets / Licences

➕ Other machinery tickets (Roller, Grader, Dozer)

➕ Rigger or Dogger Ticket

➕ Confined Space Ticket
