Mars Recruitment is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join a growing Financial Services organisation. In this role, you will analyse complex datasets to uncover actionable insights, create dashboards, maintain predictive models, and prepare reporting to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse complex datasets using statistical and analytical techniques.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance.
• Support actuarial work, including scenario modelling, loan-level cash flows, and risk pricing.
• Clean, validate, and prepare data for accurate analysis.
• Work closely with data engineers to ensure data quality and structure.
• Identify new datasets to improve reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to improvements in data governance and management frameworks.

Key Requirements:

• 2+ years' relevant experience (insurance or banking experience beneficial).
• Degree in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, or economics.
• Strong business acumen to translate data into actionable strategies.
• SQL and Excel (core tools).
• Familiarity with visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Some knowledge of Python/R desirable.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and communication skills.
