We're seeking an experienced Metallurgical Technician to support our client's team at their lithium operations on an 8:6 roster.
METALLURGICAL TECHNICIAN
Start: ASAP
Roster: 8/6 (Fly In/Out Wednesdays)
Duration: 5-6 months
Location: Pilbara, WA
Rate: $60 per hour + superannuation
In this role you will assist in recovery improvement initiatives and provide technical support to team members within the lithium processing plant.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing metallurgical support for the team
- Performing routine equipment inspections and calibrations
- Collecting and preparing samples from the processing plant
- Carrying out lab scale test work, including bench scale flotation tests and sieve sizing
- Helping to identify and develop metallurgical improvement projects
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Metallurgical Technician
- C Class Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
- FULL Australian working rights
