The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Transitions Consultant to join the Canberra team in a casual short-term role, Monday to Friday, from September to December 2025.
Supporting Australian Defence Force (ADF) Members & their families during their relocation across Australia, this role includes arranging and completing on-site visits to clients' residences to determine the scope and complexity of their move/transfer through inventory analysis, customer service visits, loss and damage assessments, store-house and supplier visits/inspections. A company vehicle is provided for this position.
This role is suited to someone with experience in the removals or relocations industry, however training and support is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality end to end relocation experience to your relocating ADF members and their families
- Determine the scope and complexity of moves/transfers through inventory analysis
- Develop strong relationships with providers to ensure the successful delivery of contract requirements
- Manage electronic records
- Undertake loss and damage assessments
- Liaise with Case Managers
Skills & Experience
- Open C Class licence (minimum) and knowledge of Canberra and surrounding regions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships
- Possess initiative, a strong desire to achieve results and a professional work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Spatial estimation skills combined with a good understanding of industry loading, packing and handling practises
- Capacity to learn new technology and processes quickly
- Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills
- Experience in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
