This is a wonderful opportunity to take on an existing case load of clients built over the past 17 years in a spacious, newly fitted out clinic, working in a large light filled treatment room facing Collins Street in Melbourne's CBD.

The role involves providing hands on Myotherapy or Remedial Massage treatments to clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with the broader healthcare team of titled and senior Physiotherapists.

QUALIFICATIONS

Myotherapy or Remedial Massage Therapy qualifications

Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans

Strong hands-on therapy skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sports injuries

Previous experience in a clinical setting is desirable

Certification in First Aid and CPR

WHY THIS POSITION?

We are searching for an experienced and motivated Myotherapist or Remedial Massage Therapist with strong manual skills and sound clinical reasoning to join our team in Melbourne’s CBD. You will work with a well-established client base in a clinic where we have a strong culture of inter-referral between practitioners.

If you are looking for regular hours with no evening or weekend work, can offer at least three shifts per week, and are searching for a role with a secure salary, including paid annual leave, sick leave and superannuation, then this role may be right for you.

This role is well suited to someone with a minimum of 2 years' private practice experience. It is essential that you have qualifications in either Myotherapy and/or Remedial Massage Therapy, and are able to also offer Pregnancy Massage. Other prerequisites include current insurances, association memberships and the ability to register for provider numbers. You must also value personal growth and development. Experience or further training in pregnancy massage would be highly regarded (but not essential) as we have a small but dedicated group of clients seeking this service.

At Flex you will enjoy working with a supportive, collaborative and friendly team of eleven practitioners and admin staff. Large treatment rooms and a fully equipped pilates/exercise studio allow you to work with a diverse range of clients including musculoskeletal and sporting patient groups.

We rely on clinical expertise and teamwork to achieve lasting outcomes for our clients. Our client base includes busy, motivated professionals, recreational athletes and competitive athletes who are invested in their health and keen to see their injuries through to recovery.
